After the cold had numbed and rain had made islands of us all the past 2 weeks, the sun shone through like a grand present yesterday morning. I welcomed its embrace with a cycle to, and around, Leisure Isle. Unfortunately, i crashed with a head-over-heels maneuver that would have looked good on Youtube but instead left me in lots of pain which means that i’m typing this blog via one finger:) Thankfully, the camera and these photos survived:

Years ago, when I was seeing stars after a motor bike accident, the first thing I asked after regaining my senses was ‘Is the bike OK?’ Clearly you don’t feel the same affection for your powerless steed. Shameful. See you manana.
