It is that time of the year again – Spring has sprung, everything is bursting with life, and Knysna’s favourite Festival is upon us. On Saturday 20th – Sunday 21st October the Entrance Park on Leisure Isle will be alive with activities, and stalls to cater for every taste will be offering a mouthwatering array of food and drink, fresh produce, art and crafts, toys, a huge array of books, indigenous and other plants and many other delights.
This year the Leisure Isle Festival celebrates its 10th Anniversary. In addition to activities such as the ever-popular barrel train and jumping castle for kids, and the doggie walk around the Island for all ages, this year Knysna’s elderly folk will be specially catered for by a wheelchair walk along a selected route.
Bring the whole family and relax in idyllic surroundings in the tea garden and beer garden, enjoying the finest on offer. About 100 stalls will offer old favourites as well as exciting new items. As always, all proceeds from the Festival are channeled to local charities.
Diarise the dates now, and we look forward to seeing you there!
