The “Showcase for Inspired Women” competition seeks to bring creative people together by the sharing and collaborating on ideas, supporting each other through honesty, tolerance, understanding, and believing in all our ability and creative talent.
Georlene Wolmarans said that, “This competition does not only celebrate women of Knysna but empowers them. It is an opportunity for women to come together motivate and inspire each other. I encourage talented artists and crafters to enter their home – grown talent as we continue celebrating women’s month, we want to give women a platform where they can demonstrate their creativity.”
This competition presents an opportunity to look into the pool of creative talent that exists amongst the women of the Greater Knysna. For the winner this means an investment in their future which will open doors and bring about growth and development for their craft.”
Any women residing in the Greater Knysna can enter the event and present their talent ranging from baking, sewing, handcraft or painting and so forth, for judging.
The winner will receive a cash prize as well as a sponsored accredited training course related to the winner’s specific craft.
