The Presidential Golf Challenge 2013 was held at De Zalze Golf Estate in Stellenbosch on a hot February 15. It was played with the better ball format.
Knysna’s very own Ralph Stander (Eden Events/ANC PEC Member) was the winner!
Ralph played with Gaitsiwe Lenepa and was one of 72 VIP players that included cabinet ministers, mayors, private sector executives and more. Ralph is also a member of SABGA (South African Black Golfers Association) which introduces disadvantaged youth to the sport.
The Presidential Address Golf Challenge (PAGC) is an annual tournament that is organised to raise funds for the charity of the President’s choice. This year, monies raised went to the Jacob Zuma RDP Education Trust.
