When Eye Love, the dress shop, opened in Knysna Mall, one of the owner’s friends sent flowers and a card for the occasion.
But when the owner read the card, it said, “Rest in Peace.”
The owner was amused so she called Bunches, the florist, to find out why she’d received such a bizarre card.
The florist said, “Ma’m, I’m really sorry for the mistake! It was a mix-up. Even worse, somewhere there’s a funeral taking place and they have flowers with a note saying, ‘Congratulations on your new location.’”
