Located in the square at The Rex Hotel in Grey Street, the shop supports South African small-scale industries by stocking locally made gifts and accessories, including ceramics, frames and wooden artefacts, funky jewellery, tablecloths, cushions, bags, candles, soaps and greeting cards.
Ranges include Soy Lites (organic candles and soaps), Rain bath range (soaps, body lotions and room sprays); a range of ceramics , bowls , platters and hand decorated mugs; and Wooden Things (bread boards , frames ,hearts and crosses) .
The clothing range, Soul, is designed by shop owner Frances Orzechowski, who has two other successful shops – Indalo at Old Nick’s in Plettenberg Bay, and Indalo Soul at Knysna Quays Waterfront.
Brightly coloured baskets, oversized bean bags and cushions from Madagascar, and cotton kikoys from Kenya add to the colourful range.
Local residents are invited to view the new stock of locally designed and crafted gifts, accessories and clothing, on Valentine’s Day, Tuesday 14 February.
