A woman in her eighties made it into all the local newspapers in Knysna after it had gotten out that she was to marry for the fourth time.
The following day, she was being interviewed by DJ Mike Wood on KnysnaFM when he asked her what it felt like to get getting married again at her age, especially since her latest fiance was a funeral director.
She smiled and proudly explained that she had first married a banker when she was in her twenties, in her forties she married a circus ring master, in her sixties a pastor and now, in her eighties, a funeral director.
Before she could continue, an amazed Mike Wood interrupted with, “Why did you marry men with such diversity?”
She explained, “I married one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready and four to go.”
