Two men were playing a round at Knysna Golf Club. As one was about to putt, a funeral procession drove up Howard Street, alongside the course. The man stopped what he was doing, dropped his club, removed his cap and placed it over his heart
His partner was moved by this and said, “I always thought that you were a bit of a bastard but I was wrong. That’s the nicest thing I’ve even seen you do!”
The man looked back at him and said, “Well, that’s the least I could do for her after 20 years of marriage.”
