In a short period of time, Freshline Fisheries has become one of Knysna’s most successful restaurants. The location would never have suggested it but Ron Pocock, the owner, used initiative, brought in sea sand and fishing nets, and transformed a corner of the car park (behind Tait Marine) into a great place to relax and eat.
Good support from both locals and holidaymakers has encouraged Freshline Fisheries to expand. There are now 7 extra tables and, most importantly (moms will say) is a place for the kids to play.
Prices are up (hopefully only for the holiday season) but still one of Knysna’s better food deals as the R95 seafood platter (above) and TripAdvisor reviews boast.
