It was impossible to ignore the Census 2011 workers as they scoured Knysna. Incredibly, a year has already passed since then. The net result, across South Africa, was 225 million pages and 64 billion fields being scanned…and 775 000 man hours being worked – “WOW” would be right!
I spent my afternoon mining the cavities of Stats SA in order to bring you the most pertinent results for Knysna Municipality and our neighbour, Bitou. There is an anomaly regards the final figure for both towns so i have emailed Stats SA for clarification. Regardless, what we have makes for interesting reading…and, yes, we have grown big time!
