It’s a delight to spend a sunny day on Buffalo Bay’s seemingly endless beaches. Throw in a river mouth and rocky beaches for a photographer’s delight or a scenic place for a picnic with family and friends. Good spot for kite flying, safe swimming (during the holidays) and braais. There’s also a caravan/camping park right next to the water where a whale washed up in 2012. Unfortunately, Buffalo Backpackers has closed down so these photos also serve as memory of that wonderful hangout.
